Noelle Smith

My name is Noelle and I’m one of the co-founders of Three Moon Motherhood, as well as the president of our current board. I provide birth/postpartum doula support and lactation support as part of my offerings to the community. I’m also a student midwife and hope to start taking my own clients in the near future. As a BIPOC woman myself, I am deeply passionate about breaking down barriers and expanding equitable access to resources and support within my community. In pursuing varied paths of birthwork and midwifery, raising babies that empathize deeply with the world and its people, and extending care to families all around, I strive to make holistic support a reality for everyone.

Hanna Rabe

I’m Hanna, co-founder and secretary of Three Moon Motherhood. I’m also a birth and postpartum doula and infant care specialist. As a mother to two spirited boys, Oaklee and Atlas—with another baby on the way—my personal experiences with birth and postpartum recovery have deepened my empathy and commitment to this sacred work. I believe every family deserves individualized care and education. Throughout every transition of the perinatal period, you will have a supportive team behind you. My soul resonates with holding space, offering comfort, and gently guiding families through these transformative experiences.

Treasurer

Anika Smith

Hello, my name is Anika and I am the Treasurer of Three Moon Motherhood. As a mother of four who benefited from the care of midwives during my first two pregnancies and births, I know first hand the power of physiological birth and compassionate midwifery care - but my passion for equitable access to holistic support extends far beyond my own birth journeys. For a decade I served as the Executive Director of a Detroit-based nonprofit, where I worked closely with communities to build sustainable programs, steward resources responsibly, and ensure that support reached those who needed it most. I bring that same commitment to Three Moon Motherhood through a combination of heart-centered leadership with practical expertise in non-profit management.
